About Lee

Lee is an experienced and highly capable psychologist with a calm, kind manner that instils trust. He has extensive experience with trauma, anxiety, depression and interpersonal challenges.

 

Lee’s own challenges and substantial life experience have brought a depth of character and deep compassion, that has taught him that personal strength can be unlocked when one works through one’s struggles. Lee’s focus is therefore on overcoming old patterns of thinking that may be holding you back and discovering your strengths and resilience. He utilises humour with kindness and he is a highly relatable psychologist that most people will find easy to connect with.

 

Lee is skilled in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills, Traumatic Incident Reduction and Mindfulness. He is particularly interested in fostering resilience and guides his clients with tools and ways to cope with and recover better from life’s unexpected challenges. Lee also has an interest in assisting people to overcome traumatic responses and promote post-traumatic growth.

 

Lee’s love of learning is clear from the further training in psychology he consistently partakes in.  He continues to broaden his skill set and he is consequently a highly trained professional is a variety of therapeutic systems.  His experience both in Australia and abroad make Lee a skilled clinician with clients of diverse cultural backgrounds.
