Dr Marie Bukman has been in private practice for the past 25 years, and has vast experience in helping people overcome inner obstacles to happiness. She is a compassionate, kind, and empathetic listener with a wealth of life experience.
Marie helps people with trauma, relationship and life challenges, low confidence, grief, depression, and anxiety.
Balance and healing
Marie teaches the arts of relaxation and meditation, unlocking the brain’s potential for coming back to balance and healing. She firmly believes in the power of the human mind to change with the right tools and guidance, and the ability to overcome fears, depression, challenging times, and relationship issues. The aim is self-awareness, self-acceptance, and more effective empowered living.
Therapies utilised
Utilising Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Depth Psychology with a practical Cognitive Behavioural approach, Marie’s practical and compassionate approach is focussed on solutions.
Marie is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) to facilitate healing from trauma, including complex trauma experienced during childhood.
Marie also offers Executive Coaching, helping clients develop their leadership skills and confidence in order to maximise their career and business potential.
Marie has a special interest in neuroplasticity and unlocking the power of the mind to change the brain for the better, leading to potentially better mood, relating patterns, peace, and joy.
