Tanya is an experienced Psychologist of 20 years, having worked with a broad range of clients both in Australia and overseas. Her work experience as well as her extensive life experience contribute to her qualities of deep compassion, insight and genuine, effective care.
Tanya assists clients with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, complex trauma, and relationship difficulties. In addition she has extensive experience and interest in working with teens and adults on the Autism Spectrum who might struggle with emotional regulation and behaviour management, and interpersonal challenges. She may also assist with associated areas such as Sensory Processing Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD.
Tanya is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, (EMDR), Dialectal Behavioural Therapy, (DBT) and Exposure Therapy. She is also trained and use elements of Narrative, Brief Solution Therapy and Schema Therapy. Tanya is therefore able to adapt her treatment modality to the client's needs, helping her clients build resources to address the difficulties they are experiencing.
