Skype Telehealth Psychologist Counselling
Telehealth allows you to consult with one of our psychologists using Skype. You are able to claim a Medicare rebate for individual psychology therapy sessions if you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP and you live in a rural or remote area of Australia.
To find out whether you live in an eligible geographical are click on this link to DoctorConnect and select the “Modified Monash Model” box on the right hand side, enter your location and search for it. You need to be living in one of the MMM regions numbered 4 – 7. If you need any help checking you eligibility please contact our friendly reception staff.
You are able to access a psychologist using Skype if you are not in one of the eligible remote areas of Australia but you will not be able to claim a Medicare rebate for your session.
You can make a Skype appointment by calling our office and our reception staff will be able to give you the information that you need, including how to create a video link from your mobile phone, tablet or PC (with webcam setup). We will ask you to make your payment by either credit card or electronic funds transfer before your session.
