Therapy with Martin

Martin's areas of expertise include helping adults with challenges such as big life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, childhood trauma, borderline personality disorders and psychosis. Depending on a person's unique needs and circumstances, Martin might gently and collaboratively explore subconscious thoughts, memories and past experiences to understand why a client might struggle in the present. He remains unconditionally positive in his regard of every person, helping them to find their joy and become the happiest and best version of themselves.

Martin's style of therapy can best be described as respectful, collaborative, non-judgemental and encouraging. He is a kind and thoughtful psychologist who believes in the inherent good in all of us. Martin therefore strives to create a safe environment in which troubling past experiences can be safely explored and therapeutically dealt with, so that a person may be free to self-actualise to the best of their potential.

Martin has extensive clinical training and experience, and he tailors his interventions to meet the unique needs and personality of each client, drawing from Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioural (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Humanistic frameworks, to enable meaningful and sustainable change. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Martin is an approachable clinician who values cultural sensitivity and collaborative practice.
