About Ravi

Ravi is a warm, compassionate registered Psychologist who is committed to evidence-based practice. Ravi prefers a holistic approach to therapy. She works with adults and older teenagers (aged 16+) and is skilled in providing psychological services to clients who present with complex mental health disorders and comorbidities. She cares deeply about the relationships she has with her clients and believes it is crucial to form a strong therapeutic alliance to facilitate growth together.

 

Ravi has experience working in various clinical settings including community services, group environments, and crisis mental health care. She works collaboratively with both clients and clinicians to provide holistic and best practice care. She welcomes a diverse range of clients from a range of backgrounds and developmental stages. 

 

Ravi utilises evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Positive Psychology. She has additionally had training in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) and Solution Focussed Brief Therapy (SFBT).

 

Ravi is committed to providing support and resources to her clients, to empower them to actively participate in their own goal-setting, decision making, problem solving and self-advocacy.
